More than a third of schoolchildren will take part in the health campaign of 2018. This was reported today to journalists by the main specialist of the department of social, educational and ideological work of the Ministry of Education Elena Simakova, BelTA.
In Belarus, the health of children in the summer is given considerable attention. "Annually, the health-improving campaign in educational and health-improving institutions of education covers more than a third of all school-age children, with the goal of improving the quality and accessibility of children's health services, creating safe conditions for it." In 2017, only 562,000 children more than 85 thousand children rested in stationary camps, 211 thousand children stayed in daytime camps, and in 2018 it is planned to keep the quantitative indicators of recovery at the level of the previous year and "- he informed Elena Simakov.
More than 5.9 thousand health camps of Belarus are ready for children for summer rest and health improvement, of which more than 1.5 thousand with a round-the-clock stay, 4.2 thousand camps with day camps.
