The national qualifying stage of the World Children's Games winners will be held April 29 - May 1 at the Ostroshitsko-Gorodoksky secondary school in the Minsk region, BelTA learned from the organizers.
World children's games winners are sports competitions for children who have undergone oncological diseases. They are held in Moscow every year since 2010, and this year for the first time in Belarus there will be a qualifying stage, organized by the local charitable foundation "Touching Life."
More than 50 children from different parts of Belarus will show their abilities in such sports as running, swimming, table tennis, football and chess. "Everyone in these games is already a winner," the foundation noted, "because these children won their most important victory over the disease." With the help of games, we strive to show that there are no limits to human capabilities and that sport is capable of giving children a feeling of fullness and brightness life. "
Small and young participants will live on the basis of the "Raubichi" sports complex.
