The Turkish company Emsas is interested in the construction of hotels in Grodno, Brest and Mogilev, Vasily Romanov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told reporters on July 16.
In the near future, representatives of the Turkish construction companies will visit Belarus to discuss concrete projects.
Emsas would like to take part in the construction of several objects in the Belarusian capital. “The Turkish company constructed the hotel Minsk in the mid 1990s. During the visit of the Turkish delegation to Belarus that completed on July 12 Emsas officials expressed interest in the construction of houses, administrative and industrial buildings in Minsk,” the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said.
The plans of the Turkish investors including the construction of a concrete production plant, an agricultural production in Belarus and the creation or acquisition of an acting bank in Belarus were announced at the talks in the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Partaking in the talks was Co-Chairperson of the Belarus-Turkey Business Cooperation Council Zuhal Mansfield and State Secretary for Foreign Trade of Turkey Tuncer Kayalar.
The visit of the Turkish delegation to Belarus which major goal was to take part in the tenth session of the Belarus-Turkey Business Cooperation Council included over 100 negotiations between the members of 40 Turkish and nearly 90 Belarusian companies.
