Delegation of Turkish businessmen to visit Belarus July 9-12

A delegation of Turkish businessmen will visit Belarus on July 9-12. The delegation will come to Minsk to participate in the 10th session of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Council, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The Turkish delegation is headed by Foreign Trade Undersecretary of Turkey Tuncer Kayalar. The delegation is composed of the representatives of 45 companies manufacturing food, clothes and textile, construction materials, household appliances, mechanical and transport vehicles, electrical appliances. Visiting Belarus will be the representatives of the following companies: POLYFIBERS (fibers for concrete reinforcement), INTERFORM (furniture), DYK (construction), UFUK SHIPPING (ship building and construction), REPKON (flow forming machines), OZALTIN INSAAT (construction and tourism), textile and other companies. Most of the Turkish businessmen coming to Belarus plan to study the Belarusian market, investment and trade opportunities of the country and to find new business partners. They will take part in the contact-cooperation exchange for Belarusian and Turkish businessmen which will be held on July 10. The Belarusian-Turkish Business Council was set up in 1992 with the assistance of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Turkish Chambers and Exchanges. The Council seeks to expand economic links between Belarus and Turkey, develop contacts between businessmen of the two countries. After it had been established the Council has held nine joint sessions for the total of 800 Belarusian and Turkish companies.
