Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow on the International Day of Neutrality, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Recognition by the international community of Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality and commitment to expanding friendly relations with all states is especially important now that conflict-free coexistence and political dialogue are facing existential threats,” the message of congratulations reads.
The head of state expressed confidence that despite today's challenges Minsk and Ashgabat will remain interested in developing effective mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at strengthening the economic potential of the two countries and improving living standards of people.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Serdar Berdimuhamedow good health, happiness and success in implementing his plans, and the people of Turkmenistan – well-being and prosperity.
