Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his greetings to workers and veterans of agriculture and processing industry of the agribusiness complex on the occasion of their professional holiday, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The congratulatory message reads: “Our nation has always appreciated the hard labor of agricultural workers, the most peaceful and creative kind of work there is. For centuries grain growers have been praised in poetry and prose while a wreath of golden wheat heads with flax and clover flowers on the state emblem of the Republic of Belarus has become a vivid symbol of prosperity, wealth, and huge diligence of all residents of our beautiful country.”
The head of state remarked that on this day Belarusians summarize results of the agricultural year and honor agribusiness workers. “You ensure our own food security and the republic confirms its reliability in all export directions,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “I am convinced that important tasks to increase the yield of various crops, modernize and build modern complexes, assimilate cutting-edge production technologies and accomplishments of Belarusian agrarian science will be fulfilled and will advance this economy branch to new heights.”
The president wished good health, happiness, and clear skies above their heads to workers and veterans of agriculture and to their families.
