In the CIS, work is underway on a draft statement by the heads of government on the prospects for cultural and humanitarian cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
On 12 December, the CIS headquarters hosted a meeting of the expert group to coordinate the draft statement by the heads of government of the CIS member states on the prospects for cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The web-based meeting was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee.
Having considered the draft document and the comments and suggestions, the participants of the meeting finalized the draft.
After internal coordination, the draft document will be submitted to the CIS Heads of Government Council which will meet in Moscow on 18 December.
