Belarus drawn against Russia, Sweden and Austria in finals for Europe handball championships
The draw of the finals of the European women’s handball championships took place in Macedonia. The tournament will be held in that country on December 2-14, 2008.
Belarus will play the qualifying round in Group C. The match against Sweden will take place on December 2/3, Russian on December 4/5 and Austria December 6/7.
The nations placing first, second and third in each group will advance to the next round. The qualifiers from Group A will be united with representatives of Group B. The other six-nation group will be formed from delegates of Group C and Group D.
