The agricultural industry of the Pukhovichi region numbers 12 agricultural production cooperatives, 8 branches of agricultural enterprises, 2 agricultural unitary enterprises, the Smolevichi Poultry Factory, OOO Ananichi (a pork production farm). The Belarus State Inspection for Seed Farming, Quarantine and Plant Protection and the Pukhovichi Regional Veterinary Station are also situated in the region.
The Pukhovichi region specializes in the production of dairy products, meat, cereals and flax. All in all, the Pukhovichi region produces 3.3% of the total agricultural output of the Minsk oblast.
The Pukhovichi region mostly specializes in plant growing as there are some processing companies on the territory of the region – the Mashpischeprod Company, the Pukhovichi Flax Processing Plant, the Pukhovichi Bakery. The region is a suppler of the Krynitsa Brewery.
