MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarus and Poland are discussing the implementation of intergovernmental agreements in the consular sphere, Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office - Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus, told a briefing on 27 February, BelTA has learnt.
In his words, today Minsk is hosting Belarusian-Polish consultations on consular issues. The Belarusian delegation is lead by head of the consular department of the Foreign Ministry Igor Fisenko. The Polish delegation is headed by Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marek Ciesielczuk. The event was opened by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Elena Kupchina and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Leszek Szerepka.
The parties consider the activity of the consular services of the two countries, aspects to protect rights and interests of the citizens of Belarus and Poland and visa issues.
