MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) - Belarus and Egypt may consider the establishment of a business cooperation council, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
This topic was discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Sergei Rachkov and Chairman of the Egyptian Council for Sustainable Development Motaz Raslan. In particular, the parties talked about possible ways to boost Belarusian-Egyptian trade and economic cooperation, including through the establishment of the Belarus-Egypt business cooperation council. The Belarusian Ambassador attended the official opening ceremony of the Egyptian Council for Sustainable Development.
Sergei Rachkov also met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Egypt Nabil Fahmy. The parties reiterated the interest in the comprehensive development of Belarusian-Egyptian relations and agreed to continue discussion of issues of common interest.
