YEREVAN, 13 May (BelTA) - Belarus is ready to support Armenia in the main areas of its social and economic development, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said during the one-on-one talks with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, BelTA learned.
“I would like you to know that the Belarusians will always be by your side. We will always come to help the Armenian people achieve the goals,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
The head of state stressed that there are no closed themes for Belarus and Armenia. In his words, Belarus and Armenia enjoy traditionally close relations.
Serzh Sargsyan also took note of the friendly bilateral relations. According to him, the two countries have built up strong interstate cooperation which has been steadily developing.
