Minsk hosts Belarus-China stamp cancellation ceremony
MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – The stamp cancellation ceremony took place at the House of Friendship in Minsk on 19 January to mark the 20th anniversary of the Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations. Attending the event were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Gong Jianwei and Communications and Information Technologies Minister Nikolai Pantelei, BelTA has learnt.
The event was held as part of the anniversary celebrations. Nikolai Pantelei emphasized the importance of the ceremony and noted that the two countries enjoy fruitful cooperation in the communications sector.
According to the minister, Belarus and China have been closely cooperating in information technologies. Telecommunications equipment made in China is in great demand all over the world.
