The final draft of the state security concept will be submitted to the Belarusian People's Congress (BPC), Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the Security Council meeting that is considering the draft, BelTA has learned.
Approving the state security concept, which is one of the country's most important documents, is now the function of the Belarusian People's Congress, the president highlighted.
“Therefore the document must be ready for the first assembly of the delegates in their new constitutional status. We will present this document for discussion and further approval at the first Belarusian People's Congress meeting. It will come into force if the delegates support it”, Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
