Belarus pursues good neighbourly policy in international arena

MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – Belarus strictly adheres to a good neighbourly policy in the international arena, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a reception arranged for graduates of Belarusian and Russian military educational establishments on 7 July. “The historical experience of the Belarusian nation, the informed choice of our own destiny require vigilance, constant care about the state security as well as pursuance of a peaceful foreign policy. This is why in the international arena Belarus strictly adheres to a good neighbourly policy, vigorously promotes the idea of building a multipolar world based on the mutual respect for rights, nationalities and peoples,” remarked Alexander Lukashenko. In his words, the creative labour of the Belarusian nation and the national independence should be reliably protected by the Belarusian army. “You will have to constantly master all the new and cutting-edge things in order to intensively build up the combat capability of our army, handle complicated and responsible tasks of maintaining combat readiness of the troops, educate and bring up your subordinates. Getting a diploma is not the end of mastering the officer profession,” stressed the President of Belarus.
