Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Panama President Laurentino Cortizo as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Despite the geographic distance, Belarus and Panama have considerable potential for stepping up cooperation in a wide range of areas,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that Belarus considers trade and investment, industrial cooperation, training and professional development as an indisputable priority.
“I take this opportunity to underline Belarus' desire to further develop friendly interstate relations with Panama, which are based on openness and mutual respect,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
