Alexander Surikov: documents in addition to united air defence agreement within half a year
The necessary documents detailing the Belarusian-Russian untied air defence agreement will be worked out within half a year, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov told reporters in Minsk on February 6.
The agreement is a framework one and multiple documents will be worked out to specify it in detail. The documents will regulate the management of the united regional air defence system, recruitment of Belarusian and Russian military personnel, formation of specific aviation, air defence units, and equipment of the troops with armaments and so on.
“Within half a year the issues will be put in paper and after that implementation will begin,” said the Russian Ambassador.
