Charity Marathon \"peaceful childhood\" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory starts in Minsk region on 16 June. The action is held for a month in the Republican charitable volunteerism Youth Union \"Minsk region with a good heart\", BelTA learned from the ideology department of the main, Culture and Youth Affairs of the Minsk regional executive committee.

During the marathon, participants deserved collective of the Republic of Belarus \"Musical Chapel\" Sonorus \"will give several concerts in children\'s homes, orphanages, boarding schools and children\'s camps, where the rehabilitation of children with disabilities and orphans.\" The children hear classical music performed by string quartet - said the director of \"Sonorus\" Elena Antipovich. - In addition, the participants of the marathon will be an interesting program with quizzes, contests and games on a musical theme, leading to acquaint them with the history of music, biographies of famous composers. \"

June 16 musicians will visit Rudenskaya boarding school and day-care department of persons with disabilities in TTSSON Pukhovichi area. On June 17, guests will receive a children\'s recreation camp named E.M.Chayki and tourist-recreation complex \"High Coast\" (Stolbtsy District), June 18, participants of the marathon will come to the children\'s rehabilitation center \"Hope\" (Vilejka district).

The purpose of the charity marathon - the spread in society the principles of mercy, compassion and empathy to help children from orphanages, and social adaptation of children and adolescents with disabilities through music therapy.
