Agrokombinat Snov plans exports to China

In general the Belarusian company is working hard to diversify its exports

Agrokombinat Snov plans to supply its products to China in the near future, head of the company Nikolai Radoman told media on 5 February, BelTA has learned.

The matter was first discussed during the official visit of the Belarusian government delegation to China in January 2014. “More talks have been held since then. I think that in the near future we will start our cooperation with China,” Nikolai Radoman said. In his words, China shows interest in poultry in the first place. Shipments of tinned pork and beef have been also discussed but the parties have not come to an any agreement yet.

“We plan to both sell our products to China and buy something there,” Nikolai Radoman said. Today Agrokombinat Snov buys lysine in China.

In general the Belarusian company is working hard to diversify its exports. Apart from the Russian Federation, the company exports to Azerbaijan (mainly tinned beef). The company also considers Georgia as a promising market.

According to Nikolai Radoman, the company plans to install a biofilter at its waste disposal plant in 2015. “Today heavy demands are placed not only on the product made but also on the environmental protection,” the head of the company said.
