New baby food factory in Nesvizh by late 2015

The project of the factory has already passed the state expert review, and the construction works have started

The baby food factory in Nesvizh (Minsk Oblast) will come on stream in late 2015, BelTA learned from the Nesvizh District Executive Committee.

The local authorities said that the Nesvizh factory will be a modern export-oriented dairy plant which will process 500 tonnes of milk per day. The factory will manufacture food products for children of different ages, such as milk, buttermilk, sour cream, yogurts, and other whole-milk products.

The project of the factory has already passed the state expert review, and the construction works have started. A tender for the purchase of equipment has been announced. Apart from the production departments, the factory will have a warehouse for raw materials and manufactured products.

The implementation of the project is carried out by the Biocom company, the largest producer of forage and supplementary feed, agricultural equipment, etc. Apart from the Nesvizh baby food factory, the company is carrying out a project to build a milk whey processing enterprise in Shchuchin District of Grodno Oblast. The Shchuchin factory is expected to come into operation in 2015.
