A new yachting club situated on the bank of the Zaslavl water storage (Minsk Sea) was opened on 1 August, BelTA has learned.
A modern yachting center is a sport and entertainment compound. The center was built by the Belarusian Yachting Sport Federation to unite the yachting club and the children\'s sport school. The technological concept, equipment and multifunctional performance of the complex show Belarus\' new promising approach to yachting development.
The official opening of the yachting club included an international regatta Bulbash Open Cup. Partaking in the competitions which took place on 1-3 August was Chairman of the Belarusian Yachting Sport Federation Igor Rachkovsky.
This year the competitions featured 14 crews: 10 from Russia and four from Belarus.
