Alivaria Brewery, Carlsberg Group, will finance the reconstruction of the specimen of architecture of the late 19th century, the Chapsky family estate in Stankovo, Minsk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
The brewery will allocate funds for the reconstruction of the beautiful rotunda of the late 19th century. No other similar architectural pieces have survived in Belarus. Work is scheduled to begin in September and October and finish before cold weather. The company\'s initiative has been supported by the Culture Ministry and the local authorities.
The brewery wants to pay tribute to the Eark Karol Chapsky, a well-known city figure and the owner of the brewery, director general of the company Denis Sherstennikov told reporters. \"This year we will set a memorial sign on the old building of the factory which was built by Karol Chapsky in 1894. Beer is still brewed in this building,\" said Denis Sherstennikov.
On 30 July, the birthday of Karol Chapsky, Alivaria presented the new light ale “Alivaria Anniversary\", the label of which shows the Chapsky family estate in Stankovo.
