FC BATE, Borisov, have advanced to the Champions League third qualifying round, BelTA has learned.
In the first-leg game at Borisov Arena the ten-time champions of Belarus held their opponents KF Skenderbeu Korce to a goalless draw. The send-leg match finished with a 1-1 draw. It was good for the Belarusian team.

In the Champions League third qualifying round the team from Borisov will face Hungarian Debrecen. The matches will be played on 29-30 July and 5-6 August.
Two years ago FC BATE Borisov got past Debrecen at the same qualifying stage of the tournament. The Belarusian team had a 1-1 draw at home and a 2-0 victory in the away match.
