High effectiveness during this year\'s grain harvesting campaign must be secured. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko gave the instruction during his working trip to Belynichi District, Mogilev Oblast on 7 July, BelTA has learned.
“Keep in mind that this year\'s harvesting campaign will be militarily-minded like never before. The crops that have grown are superb and we have to gather in every gram,” said the Belarusian leader.
The President warned that auditing agencies will pay increased attention to the progress of the harvesting campaign, too.
Other aspects of agriculture were also discussed during the working trip of the head of state. Alexander Lukashenko was interested in the procurement of forage, amelioration operations in Mogilev Oblast. The President was informed about the development of milk cattle husbandry in the oblast and the reconstruction of dairy farms. The President made it clear that all the operations required to reconstruct the dairy farms have to be completed this year.
