The Development Bank of Belarus has opened an export credit line for BelAZ Trading House (Moscow) to settle accounts on 16 trucks delivered to Russia by ОАО BelAZ-Management Company of the BelAZ Holding Company, BelTA learned from the press service of the bank.
The loan will be provided for one year at the interest rate of 8.25% and with insurance coverage of Eximgarant of Belarus. “There are plans to considerably increase the lending volume in Russia taking into consideration the decrease in the interest rate on export loans in Russian rubles down to 5.5% starting from August this year,” the press service noted.
The Development Bank of Belarus will keep providing loans for domestic exporters in line with Decree No. 534 as of 25 August 2006.
