As deputy chief of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs executive committee Mikhail Macelj, May 9, Victory Day celebration will take place opening of the renovated memorial sign «Liberation».
This sign was installed during the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the liberation Nesvizha from Nazi invaders. Now composition is complemented diploma similar to the one which in July 1944 fire lieutenant platoon Leshenko Nicholas took the fight under Nesvizh. As a result, were destroyed five enemy tanks , about thirty were forced to retreat. Nicholay Leshenko within days held abroad and gave break enemy. September 25, 1944 by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR for this feat Nicholas Leshenko was rewarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Soviet Union. He became the first honorary citizen Nesvizh.
