In 2013 the company’s fixed-capital investments exceeded Br4 billion while the target was Br1.3 billion. As a result, the company finished the 2013-2015 modernization program in 2013. In particular, the company commissioned an automated spreader Gerber and a needle spreading table Veith, the sewing equipment was renewed, and the company bought a fabric measuring and inspecting machine. Some of the projects were implemented outside the modernization program, said Andrei Zhuk.

In his words, the company intends to expand the chain of propriety sources and offer online shopping options in the future. At present there are ten proprietary stores in Belarus and another outlet in the home town of Dzerzhinsk where shirts and ties are available at lower prices. The company intends to open two more stores in Slutsk and Zhlobin, with the rent contracts already signed. Matters concerning repairs and equipment manufacturing are being handled. In H2 2014 the company plans to open proprietary departments in department stores in Grodno, Vitebsk, and Slonim.

The company exports 38% of the output and is reaching for new markets at the moment. The Belarusian company has signed a contract with a Polish company. Negotiations on shipping children\'s shirts to Czechia and men’s shirts to Lithuania are underway. In the near future Eliz’ distributor in the Kazakh city of Almaty and the oblast is expected to open an Eliz store in Almaty. Negotiations to sell Eliz merchandise in other Kazakh cities are underway. In 2014 the company also intends to expand the retail chain in Ussuriysk, Primorsk Territory, Russia using franchising schemes. For the sake of raising sales the company has signed a contract with a Moscow-based distributor that also manufactures men’s suits. Apart from that, the company has a daughter enterprise of its own in Saint Petersburg — OOO ElizTrade. In 2013 OAO Eliz was chosen to supply men’s shirts and corporate apparel for the retail chain Auchan in Russia.

In 2013 OAO Eliz turned out Br102.472 billion worth of merchandise in current prices or 107.8% as against 2012. Proceeds from sales totaled Br143.511 billion, 138.8% as against 2012, with profits from sales at Br17.345 billion or 132.8% as against 2012. The profitability of sold products amounted to 16.07%. Net profit totaled Br10.736 billion, 21.1% up.
