Minsk Oblast archives are holding action «This memory we will save for the descendants»

In connection with the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, State Archives of Minsk Oblast are holding action «This memory we will save for the descendants». Its purpose - to preserve for future generations the names and heroic deeds of the soldiers who liberated Minsk and Minsk Oblast.

In many families preserved letters, postcards, documents, newspaper clippings, award lists, photographs of soldiers. And this is a story that is very important to preserve for posterity. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever: on paper, photographs while leaving its stamp.
