The Election Commission of Minsk Oblast recorded submissions of 2437 candidates for deputies of local councils of all levels, BelTA learned from head of the main organizational and personnel work of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Gurinovitch.
According to him, the process of applying for registration of initiative groups were active. Denied registration of five applicants. The reasons for refusal of registration of initiative groups were the violations when submitting documents and electoral legislation. Some candidates withdrew their applications.

Decision on registration of electoral commissions must endure within five days. After registration initiative groups can begin collecting signatures in support of persons nominated as a candidate.
During the campaign for the election of deputies of local Councils of Deputies of the 27th convocation of the region would need to generate 249 councils at various levels and 3561 to elect MPs.
