MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – The 8th CIS Forum of Creative and Academic Intellectuals will take place in Minsk on 23-26 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.
An extended session of the organizing committee of the forum was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Tozik.
The forum will take place on 23-26 September, and it will be held under the motto “2013 is the Year of Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection in the CIS”. “Delegations from 10 CIS countries are expected to participate in the forum. The program of the forum will feature informative and entertaining events, which will help our foreign guests to learn more about Belarus,” the press service said.
The 8th CIS Forum of Creative and Academic Intellectuals is held on the initiative of the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund with the assistance of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in the year of Belarus\' Chairmanship in the CIS.
Taking part in the session were heads of Belarusian government agencies, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund, and the BRSM Youth Union.
