Russia is interested in direct supplies of traditional commodity items, services, and closer cooperation with Minsk Oblast that has proved to be a reliable partner,” the Russian diplomat said. “Minsk Oblast has always been a benchmark for other regions of Belarus. This region is an economic and cultural powerhouse having the fastest GDB growth rate,” Alexander Surikov said. The diplomat wished Minsk Oblast and other Belarusian regions prosperity. He also congratulated 103 Minsk Oblast residents who took part in the Battle of Stalingrad on the forthcoming anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Army in this decisive battle.
