Adam Lambert to perform in Minsk
MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) – World-famous pop-rock singer Adam Lambert will give a concert in Minsk. The concert of the popular American performer will take place in the Palace of Sports on 15 March, BelTA learnt from the organizers of the show.
The artist will have a world tour to support his second studio album Trespassing. The album was released in May 2012 and was met with positive reception from music critics. The album topped American and world music charts. “I wanted to put into music all I have experienced. All the songs reflect the ups and downs of my life,” Adam Lambert said about his album.
The artist stands out in the crowd by his refined image, powerful vocal and theatrical style performance. He is called the only performer who managed to revive the long-forgotten genre of glam rock.
Adam Lambert became popular due to the American Idol show where the singer participated in 2009. At the audition he astonished the jury with the amazing performance of Bohemian Rhapsody of Queen. Although the signer was only a runner-up at the show, he became tremendously popular. The singer is called the most famous artist ever competing in the show.
