About 300,000 people in attendance of Independence Day parade in Minsk
MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) - About 300,000 people took part and watched the military parade and youth procession in honor of the Independence Day in Minsk, BelTA learnt from the Interior Department of the Minsk City Hall.
“About 300,000 people attended and watched the military parade and the procession in Minsk,” the Interior Department said.
No incidents were reported. The entire Minsk garrison, including the interior troops, is engaged to protect law and order at the venues of the events in honor of the Independence Day in Minsk. In addition, there is heavy traffic police presence to ensure safety on Minsk roads.
