The main areas of cooperation between Belarus and Russia's Ingushetia will be culture, tourism, and high technology, Oleg Fursov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Ingushetia, told the media after the meeting of representatives of Belarus and Ingushetia in the Minsk City Hall on 17 May, BelTA has learned.
“Belarusian goods are of high quality, both industrial goods and food products. Your stores are many in the Caucasus. We gladly use your goods, buy your products. Today I am heading a working group which is on a visit to Belarus as part of the agreement signed between Ingushetia and your country. The task of our visit is to identify areas of social and economic cooperation. In particular, we are interested in the development of culture and tourism and also the exchange of technologies. We are interested in your equipment and your fertilizers. I hope that we will identify points of growth that will contribute to the development of our cooperation,” said Oleg Fursov.
He also spoke about the goods from Ingushetia that can be presented on the shelves of Belarusian stores. “We are proud of our high-quality meat and dairy products. We have recently opened a plant to produce turkey meat, which is popular both in the Caucasus and Central Russia. Therefore, we hope to identify those niches that we can complement and contribute to the development of cooperation,” Oleg Fursov said.
