More than 83,000 residents of Minsk Oblast, which is 5,8% of its population, have already received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health.

“The current situation with the spread of the coronavirus is stable and under control,” specialists of the center noted. “The vaccination campaign is in full swing in Minsk Oblast and contributes to the efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19,” they added.

As many as 54.8% of healthcare workers of Minsk Oblast have already been vaccinated. In Kletsk District, Kopyl District, Krupki District, Nesvizh District, Stolbtsy District, and Cherven District, the share of vaccinated healthcare workers stands at over 70%.
