Minsk regional election commission for the election of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation filed 61 statement, 42 initiative groups have already passed the registration process and can start work, BelTA Secretary Minoblizbirkom Oksana Taranda.
As of 8 July most of the candidates - 49 people - non-partisan. 12 potential candidates for a seat in parliament represent different political parties: the Communist Party of Belarus, the Belarusian Patriotic Party, the United Civil Party, the Belarusian Left Party \"Fair World\" and the BNF. It is expected that the parliamentary elections the main nomination of candidates by political parties will be held at party congresses.
At the stage of registration of initiative groups in the Minsk region the highest activity was marked by Senitskii constituency №76, №72 city of Molodechno and Slutsk №67, which respectively received 8, 7 and 6 applications. Uncontested parliamentary elections can become a Kapyl constituency №66 - filed another application for registration of the initiative group.
Recall stage of the election campaign for the acceptance of applications for registration of initiative groups of potential candidates to the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of the sixth convocation ended on July 7th. Due to violations of the electoral legislation of the initiative group of a contender for the parliamentary mandate of the Minsk region refused registration. Election Commission will complete the processing of all applications filed on July 13.
