The Oblast festival of national cultures in Molodechno gathered representatives of 14 diaspora

For the first time the Oblast festival was attended by representatives of the Lebanese and Turkmen culture

XI Minsk regional festival of national cultures was held December 13 at the Palace of Culture Molodechno, BelTA has learned.

Representatives of 14 nationalities from 15 districts of the capital region (approximately 250 people) have become party to it. By tradition, the day of the festival, they came together to introduce visitors to national traditions, culture, cuisine and art.

The event was opened an exhibition of works of folk artists who prodemonstrirrovali kind of national arts. Also, an exhibition and tasting of Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani, Jewish, Armenian, Tatar and other ethnic cuisines, which presented the inhabitants of Berezino, Borisov, Uzda, Kletsk district and the city of Molodechno. The exhibition was printed and published books to prepare participants of Belarusian Public Association of Greeks \"Peloponnesus\" (Molodechno).

The concert hall of the Palace of Culture held a concert themed \"We have zhyvёm syam\'і adzіnay\" with the participation of creative groups of national associations and individual performers. Since 2011, the position of the festival provided the nomination \"For the preservation and continuity of national traditions of family creativity\". The participants were representatives of the Armenian culture duet family Saarbekyan (village Novogorodeysky, Nesvizh district) and dance group Mamiev family - representatives of Azerbaijani culture of Berezina.

For the first time in the regional festival was attended by representatives of the Lebanese and Turkmen culture. The most numerous was the Ukrainian Diaspora (35 people).

The competent jury has defined its regional festival laureates, who in June 2016 will travel to Grodno at the XI Republican festival of national cultures. By tradition, the jury headed by People\'s Artist of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize, the artistic director of the National Academic Folk Choir G.Tsitovicha Professor Michael Drinevsky. All the participants received diplomas in Molodechno in various creative nominations and prizes from the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
