The Chinese side is satisfied with the terms offered by the Belarusian transport and logistics hub Kolyadichi, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Railways after a presentation was held on 8 October to highlight the hub\'s capabilities for representatives of the Chinese companies residing in Belarus.

The source quoted Liu Xuesong, counselor for trade and economic affairs of the Embassy of China in Belarus, as saying that the representatives of the Chinese companies had been made familiar with all the available conditions. “One can say we are satisfied with the terms. Some Chinese companies have already promised they will try to transport their cargoes via this platform,” said Liu Xuesong. He went on saying that according to statistics of the Chinese customs service in January-August 2015 Belarus\' export to China rose by 25% in comparison with the same period of last year.

The transport and logistics hub Kolyadichi is part of the Belarusian transport and logistics company Belintertrans. The company\'s Director General Yevgeny Usenkov pointed out that Chinese companies are looking for a reliable partner that will take care of all the cargo delivery services. “I think that after seeing our capabilities they will understand that we are the company they can work with, we are the company that can provide the entire range of services,” noted the executive. In his words, at present Belintertrans works with the Belarusian car maker SZAO BelGee as well as the companies CUEC and NCPE, offering a range of third-party logistics (3PL) services.

The presentation of capabilities of the Belarusian transport and logistics hub Kolyadichi took place as part of the Belarusian Transport Week. As a result, over 20 representatives of 12 Chinese companies accredited in Belarus as well as personnel of the Embassy of the People\'s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus were given a tour of the hub, which is located near Minsk.

Nowadays the transport and logistics hub Kolyadichi is an important link in export and import cargo shipments, including container shipments by Belarusian Railways. Cargoes bound for regions of Belarus as well as the CIS states, Baltic states, and non-CIS states are processed and transshipped in Kolyadichi using railway transport and intermodal transport capabilities.
