BATE Borisov went out victorious 1-0 over Serbia\'s Partizan on the home ground in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff, BelTA has learned.
BATE made a good use of their numerical advantage as they took a narrow lead over the Serbian team. Partizan, down to ten men since the 45th-minute dismissal of Marko Jevtovic, conceded 15 minutes from time when BATE\'s Mikhail Gordeichuk nodded in a corner.
