Following a 1-1 tie in Hungary, BATE dominated against the Hungarian opponents to stay on course for another run to the group stage.
BATE created a handful of chances throughout the game through the efforts of Mikhail Gordeichuk, Alexander Kornitsky, Vitaly Rodionov and Maksim Zhavnerchik who struck the woodwork from 20 meters out. It was with eight minutes to go that Nemanja Nikolic found the target.
